Dr Tara Quinlivan is a clinical psychologist with extensive experience working with children, adolescents and their families. Dr Quinlivan works with people aged 0-25 years who might be experiencing a variety off issues such as; anxiety, depression, school refusal, Autism Spectrum Disorders, behavioural issues, grief and trauma. Through her experience working with families and young people Dr Quinlivan has developed a keen understanding of the interconnectedness of young peoples mental health with their family and community networks. As such, she takes a holistic approach to mental health and works closely with both the young person, their family and other important groups in their lives (such as schools). Dr Quinlivan has a gentle and person centred approach to therapy, ensuring that families feel empowered by the process of therapy and young people feel heard.

Dr Quinlivan takes this systems approach to mental health into her trainings and workshops. Her work as a therapist has allowed her to establish an extensive knowledge of mental health and develop a nuanced understanding of the barriers and complexities in developing and maintaining positive change. Through training and consultancy Dr Quinlivan aims to improve mental health for young people by sharing her knowledge and insights with individuals in key roles within the community
