Our Mission:
Raft psychology was born from a decade of therapeutic practice. From this experience it has become clear that good mental health is rarely achieved individually. Rather, when the community works together and really understands the intricacies of mental health, individuals can achieve their best. Therefore Raft psychology aims to work at both the individual and community level to improve mental wellbeing for women and young people. Raft psychology works directly with individuals via individual therapeutic support, but also increases wider community understanding of mental health through training and workshops. While providing comprehensive information and effective strategies to address mental health concerns, we aim to give voice to the messy parts of human nature. It is often these unique and unspoken factors that hold us back. Through integrating evidence based knowledge with reflective practice Raft psychology offers therapy, training and consultancy that is both effective and meaningful, eliciting dynamic and long lasting change.
